"I had a great stay at the Country Inn and Suites in Detroit Lakes MN. The rooms were clean, well kept, and weren’t musty smelling like many are in the dog days of summer. The hot breakfast had many options and the coffee at this location was delicious."

"We booked this hotel for about $50 less than other hotels with similar review scores in the area. It’s a renovated super8 style hotel- very basic but our room was clean (even the corners of the bathroom), beds were comfortable and owner/operator at the front desk was friendly. The hotel hallways had a damp but not mildewy-smell, but the room was fine. Breakfast area had cereal and waffle machine. Would stay again for an overnight stop on a road trip. "
