"The staff at the reception was exceptionally nice and helpful and the location was excellent. However there were a few flaws in the room: no proper hot water, no indication of internal phone numbers (we had to go down to the reception to get wi-fi password and coffee/tea) and the room was a bit dated (toilette included)."

"The hotel was slowing down at the end of the season and that suited us fine. Everything was scrupulously clean and very well maintained. All the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. The restaurant was fairly simple but the food was excellent. The pools were great with very nice poolside furniture. The hotel is very well situated to cover the south of Croatia and for trips out to various islands. I would seriously recommend hiring a car for both convenience and cost but...

"We booked Sorgo Palace very last minute (literally 30 minutes before we arrived!) due to a very unfortunate issue with a booking we had in nearby Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I can't say enough about how welcoming our hosts were. The room was immaculate and nicely appointed. It was a very quiet and comfortable sleep with a wonderful homemade breakfast served on the patio. We had spent the afternoon in Ston and had we known how wonderful this little town was, we would have booked the Sorgo...

"A genuine family hotel with nice pool and beachside.i last visited 50 years ago and whilst it has been modernised in part it still retains a lot of the old building. This was a sentimental journey for me and i wasnt disappointed but it isnt 5 star luxury either."

"Mobile home felt very new. Full size fridge, TV, small bedrooms but spotless. In the shade of pine trees. Very quiet at night, slept like a log. Good verandah and Kichen was well equipped. "

"As you can see from site photos it is a lovely location and the view from our single bedroom apartment was stunning. It is just a shame that the apartment didn't come anywhere near the standard expected! No toaster, microwave or kettle. The bed had 4inch mattress that didn't come above low wooden surround so painful getting in and out and foam particle pillows were useless. The sofa was the most uncomfortable too and not sure if useable for 3rd person. Couldn't lock the doors to balcony....
