Great experience.
"Our family had a wonderful stay at the Crystal Lodge. We stayed 4 nights in the loft sweet that sleeps 6. Our two kids had their own beds and my husband and I had the king bed in the loft. The loft also had its own entrance on the second floor of the hotel which turned out to be very convenient to sneak in and out in the morning without waking kids down stairs.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our children (ages 11 & 13) even commented on how nice and friendly all the staff were.
The hotel was clean. We utilized the bike valet which was also a bonus because we brought our own bikes. The kids used the pool and hot tub everyday, their only complaint was the pool wasn't deep enough. I think it maxed out at 4 ft. But it didn't stop them from using it and having fun. The other consideration is that our room and windows faced all the restaurants and shops so we could hear some music and chatter from guests eating outside pretty late, at least until 11pm-12am+. This didn't bother us because we were also up late and we enjoyed the energy of it all. I'm sure one could request a room that windows do not face the village if they prefer a more quiet evening.
All in all our family agrees we all want to stay here again. Thank you to all workers at the hotel!"
