“The hotel is very clean. The staff are friendly and speak both English and Spanish. Breakfast is included. All rooms have air conditioning. They upgraded my fiance and my room because we were getting married, which was very nice of them.”

I did notice the staff working on remodeling some parts of the property throughout my stay. There’s not much to do around the hotel besides going to the casino. You can catch a cab for $1.65 to the bus terminal station which is bout 5 minutes away from the hotel. There’s a grocery store and some shopping you can do...

“El Ranchito Surf Camp. Well, there's not much 'camp' about it. Beautifully landscaped grounds and accommodations. When you have Jiani as a stellar chef and Lorenzo as the perfect surf instructor/fitness coach (nice gym and even better instruction)....well check all the boxes for El Ranchito. Very accommodating hosts, that get you to and on the surf. Nicely sculpted beach break, rights and lefts, only 100 yards to the outside sets (solid 6'+ face). A very memorable and fun experience.”
