"Lovely stay, with fab spa facilities and amazing breakfast. Only negatives were the room was sparsely decorated and a bit sterile (perfectly clean and wonderful bed/bathroom) and a humming sound through the night which was possibly coming from a boiler next door. Would definitely stay again"

"The hotel, staff, restaurant and location are excellent However the rooms facing the lane are extremely noisy... we were woken up at 7.30am by loud truck deliveries and garbage trucks... and late at night, the hotel staff would gather and talk loudly just below the hotel room windows. Also, the hotel has no parking, so you either have to be lucky and get a spot on the street in front of the hotel, or pay to park in the lot up the hill. "Fabulous view of the sea and easy walk to the city centre. There is a beautiful view from the bar and restaurant and I enjoyed one of their many spa massage treatments. The staff in the bar and housekeeping were also exceptional. The room was a bit warm but they do provide fans. I would definitely come back and stay at this hotel. "

"Had a lovely 2 night stay at The Beresford Hotel. My daughter and I shared a sea view twin room with ensuite. On arrival it looks quite run down and parking isnt great and is limited, however if you get a space they print a sign stating your name and reg number for £5 per night. This ensures you a parking space. We had an Assistance Dog and a retired Assistance Dog, who is now old and nothing was too much trouble and thevwere made to feel welcome, along with us. The beds were comfortable and the room was well equipped, personally the small table and chairs were brilliant for me as I like to write. The bathroom was clean and had all you needed. The seaview was amazing and the cost of thr room was fantastic. We will be returning again soon. Thank you. "
