I was traveling alone and was given a studio styled room and was pleased with the stay. The room was spacious and very clean. Close to the lake with a restaurant nearby. It was quiet as well.

Older property needs some renovating. Staff was great. No problem to get extra pillows, blankets etc, whatever we needed. Ok for one night on our road trip. Easy access to roads in/out of town. Dining options only a short drive away.

Pros: Beds were comfortable, and our room was quiet at night. Cons: TV was unplugged, and remote wasn't working. Air conditioner was very loud, and heating wasn't working. No one was in the office around 6:30 pm, and we have waited about 10 to 15 minutes to check in.

I have really enjoyed my stay, having been evacuated from Summerland. The leash free dog park across the street is a bonus, the staff have gone above and beyond for many evacuees. I highly recommend it.

Sunny Beach Motel guests will enjoy the beautiful location at Skaha Beach Park. However, be aware that the property is very old and showing it's age. The proprietors take good care of the grounds and it's clean. I would recommend this property but also advise that it's very basic!
