"Excellent quiet place with outstanding service. Very clean and highly recommend. The complimentary breakfast was also very good. Only things to be aware is that the center of Varenna is a significant distance down the mountain. You can walk there but it is a pretty good distance. The hotel will arrange local taxi to take you down and back up. The cost will be between 10 and 15 euros each way but very much worth it.
