Room was cleaned thoroughly each day to a degree I’ve never seen in the US. All staff cheerful and helpful. Head bellman (who is either the owner or is re-enacting the plot from “Roman Holiday”) goes out of his way for the guests’ pleasure and convenience. Fitness room could use a better treadmill but it probably is only used on rainy days (like my last day there). Breakfast Buffett is excellent especially with made to order omelettes on weekends.

Major bus line opposite, major boat stop alongside. View incredible. Pool lovely - very clean. Breakfast very extensive. I spent a week there and was consistently very impressed. Town square three minute walk with lovely restaurants. Had an incredible week.

Like-Location, pool and location and front staff. Dislikes, for a $1000. a night charge no closet was provided. The shower was a slip hazard, we had to lay towels down to prevent slipping. Not allowed to order drinks at the bar, when there was no activity.

The property is beautiful, the pool area especially is magnificent on the lake. The wait staff are great and the bellman try nice but the people at the check in desk did not make an effort to make us feel welcome and they didn’t explain the amenities or give helpful information about the property. The restaurant/food is good. The main level is beautiful, but the bedrooms and especially the bathrooms need an update however everything is clean The showers in the classic rooms are tiny. We had a great stay all in all - would go there again.

Great stay everything clean pool was excellent location great staff great rooms with view amazing breakfast very very nice. Pool showers nice touch for checkout day if you prefer to hang around the pool for part of the day, which we did. Drain in shower needed attention. All in all the VALUE for this hotel compared to other lakefront hotels, is unmatched in my opinion.

The view from our Superior Room with View was spectacular. Breakfast was amazing and the staff made everyone feel very welcome. Being so close to the ferry was also an unexpected bonus both convenient and entertaining to watch. We would love to stay there again next year.

This is a true gem! Right on the lake with a lovely pool. The setting is fantastic. We loved the old fashioned touches such as turn down service in the evening with towels refreshed at night as well as in the morning. The hotel has been recently refurbished so the bedrooms are well thought out and nicely appointed without being too formal. We had a room overlooking the lake and loved waking up to the sun streaming in through the windows before heading down to a gorgeous breakfast. It has to be said that the food is amazing! The added bonus is that the ferry is just along the road which makes it really easy to hop over to other towns for the day, although the little town of Menaggio is charming and nowhere near as crowded as Bellagio. We will definitely be going back to this great hotel.
