"Great stay on the boat, new, well equipped and fantastic terrace on the roof to relax and enjoy the gorgeous sunset in the evening. The boat is located in a small campsite with a small bar/restaurant and pool use for free. Friendly and very helpful staff. There is a water park close by and the lovely small town of Sesto Calende with shops, bars and restaurants is only 15-20 minutes walk away. Great short stay with the family"

8/10 Good

"relatively close to the airport, but due to traffic it took over 15 minutes for shuttle to show up. I received a pre-stay message through the app telling me that the shuttle is only available until 10 pm and you needed to call them. I responded that I don't have phone service (just what's app) and asked if that would work--didn't get a response (i tried and Whatsapp didn't work). Fortunately, I asked a person at the airport and they called for me. It was a bit confusing due to the long pick-up time. Restaurant was shockingly nice. I booked a single room and the dormers were a bit of a shock--glad i didn't bump my head. Breakfast was fine continental style."

"We loved every single thing about this beautiful hotel. It sits majestically nestled in an elevated position overlooking lake Maggiore with attractive well maintained grounds. The staff were excellent at every stage and incredibly obliging. The food including breakfast was delicious. Every Thurs night is a wonderful barbecue out on the terrace with the backdrop of the gorgeous lake which was a particular highlight. There is decadence, luxury and Italian style throughout the hotel with many gorgeous rooms to enjoy on the main hotel floor. The immaculate bedroom and sumptuous bathroom we had was on the 3rd floor overlooking the lake from a wonderful balcony, a breathtaking view that is imprinted in our minds. For us a very special hotel in a beautiful location with professional exemplary friendly staff. The owner chats to guests every morning at breakfast which is a lovely personal touch. A welcome drink greets you on your arrival at the hotel and a minibar with largely soft drinks and beer is complementary and restocked every day. We also had a complementary bottle of wine in our room and every night with the turn down service some delicious petit fours appeared as an additional treat. The hotel can arrange a private boat from their own jetty to take you to the 3 Borromean islands which though an expensive luxury provides a tailored service that was extra special. A very warm thank you to All the staff who made our stay absolutely amazing. We would return in a heartbeat."

"Overall, a 4 of 5 star experience. The rooms were clean generally but need a little update. The pool was quite nice albeit a little colder than I prefer. Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable with lots of delicious food. Some sparrows tend to enter as the windows are open. Service was the only thing I had any issue with. Our arrival experience was disappointing frankly. We were told that the parking lot was full and the instructions for the outside parking area weren't clearly shared with me. We were disappointed that we paid extra for a partial lake view but the view was mostly of the construction site next door. They need to be forthcoming with that. Overall, a pleasant stay with some hiccups."

"This Milan airport hotel offers shuttle service from the airport and represents a good value compared to the actual hotels at the airport. The rooms are well designed and engineered (air conditioned). The staff was friendly and helpful. The morning scrambled eggs were over-cooked and the bacon undercooked, but hey, it's Europe!"

"The hotel was close to train station and ferry to islands. The staff were very accommodating. The balcony on the third floor had an amazing view of the lake. Short 15 minute pleasant walk to city center. A little noisy with traffic but we were visiting islands and marketplace and evening was quieter. Would definitely stay there again. Our server Abdul at dinner was so courteous and good with customers. Food good!"
