"My second stay at Citybox Helsinki and it was perfect once again. Located right at a metro station, not far from the Central Station, in a quieter residential area.
Room was clean and comfortable, beautiful bathroom, bed was a bit on the soft side, crisp and cozy bedding. I faced the street with the tram but the windows were great at keeping sound out.
The communal kitchen is awesome, with tableware and fridge and microwave, coffee machine ($), and adjacent laundry ($). Everything functions so well, you can tell they are good at maintaining things. The main floor has lots of seating and tables for eating and hanging out, including a ping pong table.
Check-in is using a machine but was easy (make sure you have your check-in code ready), and luggage storage is available, though I did not use it. I included breakfast, which was next door, with great food and friendly service. Check-out was quick using the machine.
If you are making your own food, there is a Lidl supermarket close by with very good prices, better than the S-Market.
Minor suggestions to the management: soap is too scented for me, dryer time was too short so I had to run it twice. Thanks for another great stay!"
