"This was an amazing stay with some of the most friendly and helpful staff a hotel could have. I was welcomed every time I entered the main door, was offered help with many little requests, and for me the location was great because I love walking. It was 30-40 minutes from central market (I walk a lot) or about 10 minutes or 2 dollars with local taxi. They helped organize a local taxi (tuk-tuk) for 25 a day, and I used a regular taxi for considerably more, but well worth the freedom as I went...

Everything about the hotel was good, including the cleanliness of the rooms, the lobby, the pool, the corridors etc. The street and nearby streets could have been cleaner; we chose to walk to the various sites and to find restaurants, but there were plenty of tuk tuks available if we had chosen to use them. Breakfast was a generous buffet, with Western and Eastern options, but the croissants didn't taste fresh."
