On day 2, we were woken at 6am by the owner demanding access due to a water leak downstairs. Later the same day, we discovered the room was swarming with ants and whilst we were out sightseeing that day, the letting agent decided to simply turn our water off completely, leaving us with no shower, toilet, etc. We were then repeatedly contacted by the agent, wanting us to attend for repairs, etc. They did offer to move us to another apartment but in a completely different town and requiring a lot of time and effort wasted on our holiday.
