“Stayed here for my sons birthday to go to flamingo land. Property was very clean and well equipped, a home from home. Location was phenomenal, 10 mins from flamingo land and pickering Castle at 5 mins away. Some shops and take aways a small walk. Parking a bit hit and miss but managed to park both nights.
Lovely decor and beds were comfortable. Couldn't recommend enough.

“Excellent location for both forest and local villages and towns. Quiet location, all meals very good, breakfast you couldn’t ask for more options. Staff excellent , efficient, yet couldn’t do more. Beers from Cropton brewery excellent and good choices. Some of building from 400 years very quirky rooms on multiple levels, confusing at first but yousoon become accustomed.”
“We had a one night stop here in October. The room had been redecorated reasonably recently, the bathroom also looked very modern, all very clean. A new mattress wouldn't go amiss though.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, for our evening meal we had a pizza, which was ok, it was tasty and very filling. We didn't have breakfast so cant comment.
The absolute best thing about this hotel is sitting outside the front having a drink and admiring a stunning view! That alone would bring us...
“We had a great stay at Keep Cottage. The cottage is in a perfect position for exploring Pickering but at the same in a lovely quiet location a stones throw from the old castle. Parking was on the street but never a problem. The cottage was warm, cosy and well equipped. We would definitely stay again.”
