The hotel is well located in the middle of this picturesque town. Good restaurants nearby, short walk to the Pierrefonds castle and on the Sunday that we were there a lovely market.

Good location. Pleasant staff. Breakfast good. Lack of air conditioning would be a problem in very hot weather. The absence of a lift, or any assistance to move suitcases, was a negative.

Une nuit au pied du chateau de Pierrefonds

Très bien. Accueil chaleureux, personnel très souriant et attentionné. Chambre très bien, on pourrait regretter que dans la salle de bain, on trouve une baignoire plutôt qu'une douche, mais c'est un détail. L'agencement fait qu'on n’inonde pas la salle de bain. Très propre, rien à redire. Chambre un peu bruyante, même si ce n'est pas une gêne pour dormir. Je n'ai pas réussi à isoler l'origine du bruit. Repas pris sur place: une tuerie! Excellent du début à la fin. Service rapide, et sans fausse note. Très satisfait de mon séjour. Si j'ai l'occasion, je referais la même. Seul le bruit m'a un peu déconcerté.

Disgusting. Nobody let us in . The place was all locked up when we arrived . One other guest let us in and said , pick a room key there is no one here . That’s what we did ,talk about self service . Then in the morning the owner was in reception and said so what . Just don’t stay it’s bad

Séjour Pierrefonds

Bon Accueil, même si les chambres ne sont disponibles qu'à 18h00, le reste est très correct, très bon restaurant et petit déjeuner. 1 ou 2 prises de courant en plus dans les chambres serait bien, sinon apporter sa multiprise.

Hotel de tout repos et agréable

Hôtel très sympa au cœur de Pierrefonds , environnement très agréable: lac, château, nombreux restaurants avec terrasse autour du lac. La direction très accueillante. Bel établissement pour se reposer après une bonne journée de travail

OK pour une nuit

Chambre mal insonorisée, porte difficile à fermer (clé obligatoire); une faute de cuisson pour le filet mignon de porc. Je m'attendais à un petit geste !!!

Happy Customer

Great staff, friendly and happy to help. We stayed for three nights and had a great view of the castle. Parking outside the hotel is free but sometimes hard to get a space. Good bars near by and plenty of places to eat with good food. We went in March so it was off peak and quiet, but in summer I imagine its a different story.

un hôtel pas au niveau

accueil déplorable, sans un sourire, le bureau de réception est un véritable foutoir, l'escalier conduisant aux chambres est d'un autre age, des tas de déjections de pigeons sur l'appui-fenêtre de la chambre, une lampe grillée dans la salle de bains, la télé totalement déréglée, une toile d'araignée pendant d'un aérateur au plafond de la salle à manger...cela fait beaucoup...seul le petit déjeuner est correct!

Buon Hotel, buon ristorante

Hotel in buona posizione per visitare Compiegne. La sorpresa è stata il Ristorante dove ho cenato 2 volte con ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. La camera invece potrebbe costare meno dato che Expedia la propone al prezzo ufficiale esposto in Hotel.

Vreselijke ervaring

Dit hotel geboekt na paar dagen Normandië want we wilden hier het kasteel Pierrefonds zien. Op de bevestingsmailmail stond inchecken van 18:00 - 21:00. Om 20:15 bij het hotel maar niemand aanwezig, hotel helemaal donker. Geprobeerd te bellen maar niemand nam op, ook nog op de ramen geklopt hierop ook geen reactie. Schuin tegenover dit hotel zit hotel Beaudon hier naar binnen gegaan deze hebben het hotel geprobeerd te bellen op een ander nummer maar ook geen gehoor. Wij kregen ook te horen dat dit hotel op maandag dicht was.. Dit nergens gehoord of gezien. Gelukkig had hotel Beaudon nog twee kamers over en hier overnacht. De volgende morgen keek ik op mijn mobiel omdat hier WiFi was en zag tot mijn verbazing dat ik een mail van het hotel Aux Bles d'or had gekregen met hierin een code om binnen te komen.. heel de mail ook in het Frans. Deze mail was verzonden op de dag dat we hier zouden overnachten, snap niet dat dit geen week van te voren is gedaan? Dit hotel raad ik dan ook bij niemand aan, als je tijden doorgeeft dat je in kan checken moet er ook iemand zijn (lijkt mij). Volgende dag wilde we nog aangaan bij het hotel maar er was ingebroken bij ons in de auto dus we zijn niet meer aan geweest en ook niet naar het kasteel Pierrefonds maar naar politie gegaan helaas.

Hôtel bien placé

Ouverture de la réception à 18h alors que lors de la réservation c'était écrit 15h30. De plus, plusieurs fois dans la nuit une alarme a sonné. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel

Charming hotel with view of Chateau Pierrefonds

The hotel is a very old building with not so great sound proofing. My daughter and I were in room #1, which is at the top of the stairs. We could hear everything going on in the hallway below us and as well as the group of people that were shown to their room around 10:00pm. The owner was very friendly and nice, however wasn't in the office when we arrived around 5:00. A note on the door said the office was open at 6:00. We walked around town, returned at 6:30 and this time the outer door was locked. After some knocking she let us in and checked us into our rooms. We ate dinner at the restaurant, which was delicious. The breakfast buffet was adequate but definitely not worth the 9Euros each that we were charged. The bathroom was spacious but had a huge window at the end of the tub. The bathtub had a dark brown curtain hung halfway thru it for privacy. The building itself is old and charming and within great proximity to the chateau.

Small hotel good for a visit

The hotel was clean, and located close to a lot of restaurants and the castle. It was, at times, hard to find the woman working the front desk. The room was modest, not super luxurious but good for the night. Breakfast was 6 euro and was tasty; it was an assortment of bread with orange juice and a hot drink. My main issue was with the parking, I thought the hotel had a lot, but you just had to find parking on the street. Overall not a bad experience, I thought it was a suitable value for the money.
