We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Amalfitana. The staff were really friendly and helpful - let us leave our baggage with them before and after check out to be able to explore and called us taxi when leaving. The location is perfect -5 min (if that) walk from the leaning tower and about 10-15 min walk to train station and central shopping area. The building itself and rooms are outdated, however the toom size and cleaness compensates this in my opinion. Overall would recommend, as is really good value for money.

Hotel pulitissimo da cui risulta essere molto semplice raggiungere il centro di Pisa. Andrebbero fatti degli aggiusti.

Struttura indecente per il prezzo pagato (150€/notte 12€ di colazione per 4 persone). Nella stanza è tutto vecchio, persino i rubinetti (che avranno 30 anni a dir poco). Bravissimo il ragazzo coi capelli ricci alla reception, pessimo il signore anziano che ne ha preso il posto e che ha rischiato di farci perdere il volo perché si annoiava ad aspettare al telefono col radiotaxi.

It's a wonderful, friendly budget hotel. Would definitely stay again. Very easy from train, abt 15 mins on foot.

Excellent location - easy walk from train and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Staff were nice and helpful. Attached restaurant was excellent. AC worked well. Hotel is good value, but had a few small problems (as expected at this price point) like one of the mattresses was uneven and the toilet tank sprayed water out of the top so we had to put a towel over it. Would still stay there again all things considered.

Literally right down the road from the Cathedral and Bell Tower. Maybe a 6 minute walk with food and shopping right around the corner. A little bit longer (16minutes) but still an easy walk from the train station.

Almost no light with very few amenities, everything is really old and damaged, our room was completely flooded by the rain so we had to evacuate fast. On photo it looked better and that’s the reason we picked it. Would never back there.

Not a bad location
Great hotel, central to most places to see. Not much of a distance from airport, leaning tower & cathedral were within walking distance. Staff were very helpful, check in was quick & easy, room was clean.

Sentralt, men ikke verdt pengene…
Vi sjekket inn sent og opplevde en rotete og lite velkommen resepsjon. Rommet var rent, men fremstod shabby og med slurvete finish på maling samt flere ikke-fungerende lys og stikkontakt. Ekstremt lytt ut mot korridor som ga en følelse av å sove i korridoren. Frokost stengte tidlig (kl.10), men vi fikk servert en enkel frokost kl.10:10. Hyggelige ansatte, men vil påpeke at vi fikk bestilt en taxi som svindlet oss med kun kontantbetaling, ingen kvittering og ekstremt høy pris for fem minutters tur (17 Euro). Svært god lokasjon, rett ved siden av botanisk hage og nærme det skjeve tårn samt hyggelig service vekter opp, men veier ikke nok til at vi kommer tilbake dessverre.

Equal distance between the train station and The Leaning Tower of Pisa. Lots of restaurants in adjoining streets. Hotel basic but perfect for exploring and for the price. Felt safe and clean.
