Maya beach is more low key. with a beautiful beach, the rooms aren't some crazy glam rooms but well kept and maintenanced which is why I like it. It's a beautiful family run business and it shows. The restaurant draws all the locals in so that's a good indicator... "

"Everything about this hotel was terrific. The service was excellent, the shared kitchen, living room and patio were spacious and spotless. The wifi was fast. Every meal we had at the restaurant was delicious. Highly recommend the lobster and the rum punch. The pool just steps outside our room was private (just for the villa) so never crowded and always convenient. We had a beautiful view of the beach while working or just chilling."
