“This is a great little place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful envirnoment. At first I was taken aback having just stayed at a luxury hotel downtown, but after a couple of hours I came to truly appreciate the beauty and care, that Jay the owner put into it. “Communication from the owner was excellent. The staff was amazing and patient with our lack of Spanish. The food was delicious and made dining stress free for my wife and me. The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car. Thanks for caring for us during our stay!”

“Brand new property with clean spacious rooms. Ample storage in the room and large bathroom with walk in shower and Molton brown toiletries. There was complimentary bottled water although the tap water is safe to drink, and 6 complimentary coffee pods a day. The yoga instructor was excellent and the yoga was complimentary 9am Thursday to Monday on a roof terrace on the spa. “Everything was great at the site. Beautifully appointed with lacquered wood, stucco, and tiles. The grounds are also beautiful. The host, Victoria, was unusually obliging. Can't say enough about this one. The downside is that Expedia booked two rooms for me and I was charged for the one I didn't need. ”
