Breakfast good, staff amazing I was only sad cuz the pool was out still and didn’t know it. They offered to buy me a pass across the way but it was raining. Playa grande is a tiny town with maybe 5 places to eat. It’s 40 min to Tamarindo unless you walk down the beach for 10 min to a water taxi- then walk on the other side to the main strip. It’s just too hot to do all that.
Very unique beach with all the great surfing accomodations. The ocean is fantastic with beautieful waves. White sand.
We enjoyed a fabulous turtle tour!
Bring nothing but comfy shoes, particularly ones you can spray off like plastic flip flops or water resistant shoes. We went during the dry season and it was very dusty so we had to spray down our shoes every day.
Go to El Huerto Pizzeria, the best pizza in Guanacaste! Highly recommend it!
