“We were put in a handicap room that was awful! It certainly would not be user friendly for a person with those needs. Our bad, we should have asked for another room.”

“The room was Super Clean and quiet, parking was free and there were plenty of spaces. The woman who greeted us at the check-in desk was friendly and welcoming. Our room had a small fridge to keep our soda and water cold and the shower had nearly instantly hot water. We love staying at small, independant places for exactly this reason! The only thing that could have made the stay better is a hair dryer, but since I typically travel with one this wasn't a hardship. Thank you, Elk Inn!”

“Perfect location for dinner and wineries. Only complaint is the floors in the apartment and around the building were dirty”

“When I thought I had left my wallet in the room they went above and beyond attempting to locate it. The wallet wasn't there. It had fallen between my seat and console in my pickup.”

“Nice stop on a wedding trip”

A elderly woman and her daughter were just beside themselves and I tried to see what I could do to help them their room sheets and blankets looked as if somebody that was dirty and just slept in them. Their mirror...

“We chose for location but were greeted by bugs and unexpected filth, omg”

“Housekeeping did not clean our room—we had to go downstairs to the front desk to get our own towels. Kind of rundown—not a lot of options around Wilkesboro—I just say it was “okay.””
