"Everything was nice about the hotel. Only complaint would be the waterpark and arcade are only open weekends so my kids were super disappointed. Food at the bar was as expected for a hotel. Cleaning service went above and beyond everyday to do something special with my daughters toys and blanket"

"I loved our room with a fireplace, so cozy. The restaurant was really good, and the staff were so sweet. I was hoping for cozy inn vibes and a fireplace in the common areas and unfortunately that’s not a thing at this inn. Other than that, it was lovely."

"Great location, easy valet parking. The hotel is well maintained and the staff responded quickly to my request. The king room with fridge and microwave was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is average but good coffee 😊. Easy walking to Portsmouth jazz club and restaurants. Would stay here again."

"The facility appears to be new and exceptionally clean. The rooms a large with comfortable furniture. The bathrooms are well equipped and clean. You get a combination code for your room which is nice. No need to keep track of a key. There is plenty of parking for now but more rooms are being built. Cell phone service (at least Verizon) is TERRIBLE around the hotel. They have WIFI that works fairly well in the evening, but I found that when the staff is in the office, WIFI performance degrades a great deal. I don't know what they are doing to sap the bandwidth. For television, they provide Roku boxes on TVs. You can use your home account to access whatever streaming service that is supported by Roku. Just make sure you delete the quick access link which is supposed to delete your personal streaming accounts. If you're looking at going into Salem for the museums, etc., it is about a 20 minute walk. The sidewalks are very uneven, so the walk could be troublesome for those with walkers and canes. For restaurants and stores, that 20 minute walk is necessary. There is a breakfast place with 4 or 5 tables that you can reach within 10 minutes by walking. The staff pointed out they have something called "Skipper" for transportation and provided a phone number. They really should have mentioned the need to set up an account with Skipper before trying to arrange a ride. A map of the area should also be provided at the hotel. Some are free at the attractions."

"The gentleman at the desk was quick with checkin. He was friendly and welcoming, very quick to act when we requested items for our room. He was also very helpful when I had laundry issues. The lobby and hallways were very clean as was the elevator. Our room was wheelchair accessible right from the door. In this room the bed was lower and medium firm, rollin shower with a shower chair, lower counters and grab bars in bathroom with good turning radius. The room also had a kitchenette that isnt accessible as it is a galley style. You also need to order everything at the desk ie coffee maker, dishes, cookware. That was inconvenient but definitely not a big deal and I understand it is to control loss. The only real downer was this room faced the interstate so a lot of road noise all night long. We would definitely stay again."
