"The staff was so very friendly. Everyone was extra helpful! The room was comfortable and large. The view was AMAZING! Parking was super easy, and the breakfast was good and plentiful. The shower pressure was great too! The location was perfect as well."

"Absolutely — for Hotels.com I’d make it warm and personal, but fairly concise. Here’s a polished version for Rose Bled: We had a wonderful stay at Rose Bled. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made us feel very well looked after throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice and everything we tried was delicious. We also really appreciated the thoughtful service when we had an early train to catch and would miss breakfast. The hotel kindly prepared a lunch box for us to take with us, which was such a lovely touch. Our room had a fantastic balcony with a beautiful view over Lake Bled, including Bled Castle and the church. A lovely hotel with genuinely friendly staff, great food and a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our time at Rose Bled and would happily stay here again. I think this strikes the right balance for Hotels.com — positive and genuine without sounding like an advert."

"Such a quaint and charming hotel, and our huge family sized hotel room was perfect after being cramped in a small room on a boat. Our room was on the top floor and it had tall, vaulted ceilings and many windows, the bathroom is huge, shower, water pressure with perfect, ,and with the two extra twin beds created a lot more space. We did not need the extra beds, but certainly enjoyed the king size comfortable bed. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and two nights in a row we were tired of eating out, and they brought the dinners and wine to our room to enjoy on the coffee table and comfy chairs. The room has a smart TV so we were able to watch Netflix lol (by this point on our vacation, we had gone out to dinner many, many times and just needed a break). The breakfast buffet was large and perfect for our tastes… It had yogurt, berries, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, all kinds of fixings for the yogurt, breads, and I’m sure a lot more that I overlooked. They will also cook to order other kinds of eggs, My husband really enjoyed the cappuccino and macchiato every morning that they made fresh. I enjoy teas and they had a good selection of herbal and caffeinated teas. I definitely recommend eating at the hotel for dinner at least once because it was delicious! And they have a pretty good wine selection. As with many hotels, there are no elevators, but that was not a problem for us even being on the third floor. I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely stay there again."

Rikli Balance Hotel - Sava Hotels & Resorts

"Good hotel but I felt it was quite expensive for the room standard. The view from the balcony was excellent but the aircon was weak and the bathroom felt dated. The location is super handy, and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good and on at good times with plenty seating. The pool areas are a huge highlight of this hotel too- it’s great to have so many to choose from and beautiful views from the terrace. I felt we were charged a lot for extras I expected to be included, for example the onsite saunas. There was also a fee for lost room keys (and remember to take one per person for the pool areas so you cant get in otherwise). It was also the only hotel on our trip that charged for parking however I believe this is due to a bigger parking issue in Lake Bled in general. I would stay here again however- and booking the balcony room made all the difference!"

"If you want an authentic last Century stay this is the place. It is in a pedestrian only enclave which is pretty as a picture postcard and there is lots of shopping and great food. The hotel does not have a lift but staff manage your bags. High ceilings, 4 poster beds and period furniture. And the place is quiet as a church mouse. loved it and I will be back."

"The best things about this hotel are that it is a 1-minute walk from Villach HbF; the rooms (at least mine) were clean and quiet, despite proximity to the train (and bus) station; the desk staff was friendly; and the breakfast buffet was pretty good. It's a 10-minute stroll from the old town and the most scenic part of Villach."

Hotel Bohinj

"The hotel has an ideal location on lake Bohinj. It's a bit unclear where reception is when you arrive at the parking lot and first impression from the staff was not great. They were not very friendly for some reason. We upgraded from a basement room with a view of a parking lot 1st night to a great corner suite on top floor with an amazing view of the lake and mountain and a large bath 2nd night. Breakfast was good and we had light dinner and dessert at the hotel as well, which was good. Although, charging 20 euro for a cup of buckwheat is ridiculous, as much as I love buckwheat. Plenty of parking and there is a sauna and a large whirlpool. Wonderful location and concept, staff could be a bit more helpful at front desk and in the dining area. Muhr Villa dinner in day two was an amazing experience - another level."
