"L'Aia is a nice B&B (not Resort) with a very friendly owner (Vincenzo) that does everything to make the stay welcoming and relaxing. The room has a good size, and the exterior has beautiful views. The swimming pool is gorgeous, and the BBQ/Bar area is a plus. Internally, the shower does not have a consistent flow of hot water, with intermittent cold/hot flows. "This is a unique hotel, perched on the hilltop of Montesano village. It has old charm and lots of character. Our room was spacious and with castle-themed furniture. We had a private terrace patio which was huge and offered a spectacular view across the area. The girl at the reception, Elsa, was very kind and informative. We had dinner at the restaurant of the hotel and it was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a hidden gem. Parking at the property is free."

"If you want a true Italian family experience then a stay at BnB La Mortella is the answer. We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour.
