“The property was well run by all the staff in the restaurant and the bar . Friendly and professional manner. Staff were helpful and have a good knowledge of the local area. Room was spacious and yet cosy, and was cleaned daily. Property is in great location on the main road in Street. Plenty of free car parking at the rear . Loved the outside seating area . Will definitely be returning. ”

“The staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable. Our room was spacious clean and exactly like advertised on the web site. Everything was very clean. Bathroom and shower etc very good and spotless. We dined at the Indian restaurant next door the food was excellent and the service friendly and professional. Ths only sad thing was the little coffee shop is no longer there but I understand why. ”

“Everything was excellent. The room was large, really clean and nicely decorated, as was the bathroom. Directions really clear. The breakfast was superb. All the food was fresh, with choice of cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, bread, pancakes, crumpets and hot breakfast cooked to order. Entrance and eating areas also beautifully presented (and decorated for Halloween in our case). Staff were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend The Keep and would book again any time we return...

“Martin and Melanie are lovely hosts. B&B is a short walks from local pubs. The sunday lunch in the George was excellent. Breakfast around the kitchen table with the other guests was a real treat. As was the various fruits from their garden. Easy travel to numerous places including Stourhead and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Great hosts highly recommended.”
