Royal Hideaway Casablanca

"We had a very pleasant stay at Hideaway. The hotel is in a great location, with a lovely pool area and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to the regional manager, Mehdi, who was very kind, attentive and made sure everything went smoothly. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and a hotel I would happily recommend."

"I made the reservation for my wife and her niece. The staff was very helpful and put me at ease when my wife told me how helpful they were. Although the property was being renovated (that's why I gave it 4 of 5 stars) but the room was clean and comfortable. Excellent location and would recommend it to anyone visiting Casablanca."

"We were very grateful for the gentleman on the reception desk who waited till after 12AM to allow us to check (we have booked at 11:54pm). The room was great with a big bathroom, it had a lovely view of the city, unfortunately there was a mould/damp smell in room 703. The Air Con was not effective when we walked into the room, the hotel sent up an engineer within 5 minutes and he fixed the system. The rooms have different layouts, we would suggest they re-think the layout for rooms where they have the toilet in a separate space to the bathroom. All of the staff in the breakfast area were lovely, their service was second to none, the waiters treated all of our family with respect and made the kids feel so special. They have a varied breakfast spread and you have hot food made to order which was yummy (order the Khliaa omelette if you choose this hotel). Their Morrocan Tea served at breakfast is a real experience. Unfortunately I found a paperclip in my sausage, the breakfast staff were extremely apologetic and no harm done. My Khalil who greets the guests was very nice, everyone was very helpful. I would just make one suggestion and ask the hotel to train the females on reception as they were not welcoming and hesitated to help guests (this is not what you expect from a 5* hotel). The Spa staff were fabulous, Salima did our massage and she was wonderful. Their steam room is the best one I have seen ever. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool area and Hanaane is amazing!"

"If you are going to be driving to this hotel, beware that traffic, especially, after 3 PM can be challenging and nerve-racking for somebody who has not driven in the area before. This hotel offers, great value, good location, and free parking. Close to plenty of food options. If you’re looking to find alcoholic beverages, the hotel prices are surprisingly high. If you get a Uber driver to drive you somewhere, most of them know where you can buy beer and wine. I would highly recommend calling Uber and hiring the Uber driver to take you around to all the hotspots in the city, especially the Mohamad the second mosque, which is the second largest mosque in the world; it’s truly, an architectural marvel. We paid $150 ( plus tip) for the whole day, and about 6 to 8 stops. The tour was in a comfortable, Mercedes. I would highly recommend against accepting unsolicited offer for help from the locals!"
