Absolutely gorgeous property! Service and amenities (outdoor pool, sauna, indoor small warm pool) were simply perfect. The area is a bit tucked away so you’ll need a rental car - but on the other hand, spending a few days here just relaxing is great too! Views are amazing, beds are comfy, food is really good. Property has a calming, quiet, adult vibe. I would happily return!

Enjoyed our honeymoon here! We were able to relax, ate an amazing continental and hotel breakfast, book the indoor pool, and enjoy massages for additional fees. As a result, we were able to have a late check out making it very easy to wind down!

My wife and I stayed here recently with our baby on his first trip and we were so happy that we did! The view is amazing and the staff was so helpful and patient with us. They really made our trip so much more enjoyable given the challenges traveling with a baby can bring to newer parents. Having an indoor pool and access to the spa just a short walk from our room was perfect and the food was great! Will definitely try to return as soon as we are able!

We stayed at three of the best hotels around Sao Miguel island during our visit this week and Sensi Azores was our favorite. The beauty of the location and spaces, the peace and quiet, the warm service, and the best food of our whole trip .. I could go on, but these just a few of the things we’ll remember fondly from our visit. Mix all that with the easy drive to epic experiences at Sete Cicades and Ponta da Ferraria, and Sensi Azores is a destination not to be missed.

I almost don’t want to write a review for Sensi because then the secret will get out, but it might be too late for that. Everything about Sensi is wonderful. It’s peaceful, lux, gorgeous, and worth every penny! The staff is very warm and helpful. Do yourself a favor and just stay here.

Perfect!

Exceptional in every way! Rooms, amenities, details, location, food, but most impressively was the service. From the moment we walked in early we felt as if we were home. Every single person we met that worked at Sensi were warm, patient, accommodating, fun, happy, and the employees made our trip what it was. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone that stays on Sao Miguel! Thank you so much for having us! Btw we even left another hotel and took a financial loss to return to this hotel after leaving for one day!

We had a really great stay at this very beautiful and calming hotel..The hotel room was very elegant and comfortable with a very nice bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. The food here is delicious! Breakfast is amazing with a great continental breakfast with cheese, ham and fruit and pastries along with a choice of entree. The tea, coffee and fresh juice is great. The staff in the Dining room for breakfast and dinner are so nice and do an excellent job. Our favorite meal was breakfast though due to the great food and lovely staff member who served us each day and even asked about our days hiking and sightsering. The bar lounge is gorgeous and a lovely place for a pre dinner drink. Dinner has some nice choices all very well prepared. The hotel location is excellent. It is located down a quiet road so there is no car noise. It is located near to the thermal waters at Ferraria and just 15 minutes drive to the village of Sete Cidades where great hikes await! We had a wonderful stay and would like to return!

Pleasant stay. Very quiet hotel in a remote area. Rooms and spa had a nice calming vibe. Pretty water view but the dead fields in front of our room were not very pleasing to the eye. I'm not sure I would rate it 5*... more like a 4 star. But staff was nice and the rooms and bathroom were spacious and clean
