The person said to come to the Akropolis Hotel which was just a short walk. Apparently they are sister hotels and my reservation was switched but because I booked on hotels.com they staff couldn’t reach me. No big deal, as it was close by. "I knew I was in for a noisy ride when they put me in a room behind the reception. I was right. The staff were very noisy from 7 in the morning. Big gap under the door so it felt like they were in my room. Then, low and behold, the cleaner just walked in at 830 without knocking. She didn’t apologise or even lock the door. Breakfast was terrible. "

TIt's a working residential/commercial area with a large covered market opposite. closed when we arrrived, but I guesss busy and noisy when open. getting in is a hassle for those not used to smart phones, downloading apps swiping, pin codes and so on. Definitely not for digital immigrants. the place is really nicely done out A lot of trouble has gone into it. 2 big problems (for us). First I was under the impression that B&B meant breakfast of some sort....
