“You really can’t underestimate how beautiful the location is. However, the food was almost inedible and the Internet nonexistent. Had to go out looking for food and there’s not many restaurants around The facilities look like they have not really cared for them much but the location is amazing right on the beach The staff did a great job but were limited in their expertise and therefore we couldn’t eat there. Food was pretty bad. The breakfast however, was OK and had a variety of eggs or granola...

“La propiedad estaba muy caliente y el aire acondicionado no funcionaba bien! La puerta trasera no cerraba bien y se podía abrir fácilmente aunque tuviera la cerradura puesta! La parte del piso superior tenía todo el suelo de concreto agrietado! Los números que tenía para contactar no funcionaban! Tuve que buscar otro sitio de hospedaje y ni siquiera contestaba el correo electrónico! No me devolvieron mi dinero! Que vergüenza hacer propaganda con semejante porquería ”

“The location of the lodge is really beautifull and the staff is really friendly and helpfull, always tryong to make the extra effort for the guests. You get for what you paid for. It´s not a luxury hotel but a very nice and special lodge in what until very recently was the jungle.”

“The online 1-star rating is not really justified. Although basic, this place is worth the $55 fee. The Hotels.com experience is to be avoided, they overcharged on the rate. The room was basic, the bed below average, but seeing the many species and number of sea birds in the early morning is a treat. The dirt driveway to the site is a biet of a pain.”
