“The house is in a beautiful location and we were greeted by Alfie. We were made welcome from the very beginning and looked after well. Our twin room was perfect with amazing views. We were recommended a walk to the lake and took a picnic, beautiful scenery and incredibly relaxing. A must do! We were provided with a delicious cooked breakfast and fresh bread. We will absolutely be visiting again and we wished we’d stayed longer than 1 night. ”
“We loved our stay here! The rooms were gorgeous, clean, nice tea and coffee and fresh milk. The most comfortable bed ever! We had a lovely meal and a drink on the terrace looking out over the river, it was bliss! Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was awesome, we had a great time, we'll definitely be back!”

“Excellent stay. Surprised it was only 2 and a half star. Room was excellent and clean. All staff were so nice but a special shout out to Lauren (I hope I spelt that right) who was on her feet working and tidying from late at night and up working first thing in the morning. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and was a very nice lady to talk to always making sure we were settled and happy, and we only stayed for one night sadly. We will definitely come back soon. ”
