โBooked just one night as a last minute getaway. Stayed in the Penthouse which has a large blacony with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom great. The beams are low at the edges of the room but we are both tall and managed to avoid them :) I would highly recommend this place and will be staying here again in the future.โ
โFabulous hotel in the middle of Ambleside.
Staff were all amazing ... fantastic customer service from everyone we encountered. Room was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and very clean and quiet. Plenty of free parking available on site. Public areas were expansive, relaxing and once again very well presented.
We really enjoyed our stay and are already planning a return trip for a longer period. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to all.โ

โLovely building and lovely room. 2 adults 1 child in bedroom 2. Large room with small ensuite shower, toilet and sink.
Situated in a lovely street, can be a bit noisy at night with the pub but not enough to annoy us. Will definitely stay again.

โRoom was a good size, upgraded from what we booked which was a nice surprise, we arrived early and checked if the room was ready which it was so again this was a bonus! No staff on site that we saw but didnโt really need anyone, free to come and go as we pleased and the property felt secure and safe we even left the patio doors open to allow fresh air in, perfect location. Quiet spot in walking distance of Ambleside pubs would definitely return. โ
