โThe room was clean and exactly what we expected. I was a little concerned because I had read some bad reviews but we had no problem with our 1 night stay. Cookies were great and breakfast was good with lots of options.โ

The property is right on the lake though there is no easy access from the hotel so we had to walk around a little. However, there is a nice, green area facing the lake, which was very nice.โ

โIts a very nice place right on the water. That was our room. Can watch all the boats go by.The lady at the desk was great. Only thing I noticed needed grab bars in shower, We enjoyed our stay both times we was there, We had same room. We really liked that room. Took pictures from our window. We sat out back on deck. Have nice tables,chairs,umbrellas. If was younger we would go againโ
โA well-appointed house on a canal in a rural area close ( a few minutes) to Port Clinton, with plenty of room for the four of us. Our stay was very short but would definitely choose it again. One point, one of the beds is a full-size mattress turned sideways so very wide but not suitable for adults unless you sleep "across" it. We were there to bird the famous Magee Marsh and Ottawa NWR, it was great for that and if you have a boat you can tie up right there.โ
โCheck in was a little slow but we didn't mind. The room was nice and comfortable. It also had a pull out bed chair which was a nice surprise. The kids loved the water park . We didn't order any food instead ordered dominos. It was a lot cheaper. It looked like they had good food choices for decent prices though. Loved having a Starbucks in the hotel. There is a bbq restaurant you can walk outside too its basically attached. One thing i learned while we were checking out you can come before...
โThis was my boyfriend and I first vacation together. We celebrated our 2 year anniversary at Sawmill creek resort. Letโs just say it was fantastic, with a breakfast restaurant and a dinner restaurant. Plus Starbucks!! A lovely out door and indoor pool. Just everything was perfect for our first vacation together and our anniversary. The Millers table was great our wonderful waitress helped us celebrate with a delicious crรจme brรปlรฉe dessert. We will definitely be back before summer officially...
