“Loved our stay here. A real treat, comfortable bed and lots of space. We can thoroughly recommend”

“Drift House is a beautiful haven to stay at that is so well architecturally designed and thoughtfully finished! The staff were amazing and so helpful! We cannot wait to visit again!”

“really nice room as we were upgraded which was really kind. I think the advert is a bit misleading as the pictures all show the best room and not all rooms have views to the river as the images show and kitchen etc is shared. That said, because we had a better room and no-one else there we had a wonderful time with the whole space to ourselves, great facilities (although bathroom a bit dated) very comfortable bed, lovely sitting are and well equipped kitchen. Host was excellent and incredibly...

“There was no on site car parking as indicated- needed to park in public car park up the road. Was further to walk to beach and shops than indicated . We chose for location and accommodation was much more expensive than other options and we were disappointed with that. Bed was very uncomfortable - partner and I had sore backs ”

“Location next to the coffee roaster in town is excellent. Port fairy was a great location to stop. Rebecca’s was a cute little coffee and biscuit shop. Florentine’s were amazing. We did dinner at fish and chips shop at the wharf. Good but take it to go. Park at the end of the point is a must visit.”

“I wanted to leave a positive review as I felt the manager genuinely tries their best. There's a total lack of privacy between the bedroom and bathroom. You would want to be in a very confident and comfortable partnership to share this room. There's literally NO privacy at all. The bed is only a double which is a let down, especially with the $400 a night price tag. Breakfast is off site but quire good. ”

“This was a nice and clean place to stay. The only complaint I have is the bathroom didn't have a bathroom fan/vent in it so it got very foggy and wet in there after using the shower. But everything else was great.”

“Villa was very clean and lots of room, mattresses where very firm, we would have liked more comfortable mattress. Parking good a laundry facilities excellent, swim spa was great nothing like a dip in the early morning or before going to bed. Sonia helped manage the property and she was lovely, very helpful with our silly questions, quite a few mosquitoes so bring some spray with you.”

“Great location! Very nice, comfortable accommodation and wonderful staff! Great beds and showers! Well equipped kitchen. Easily walkable to town. ”

“처음체크인시 카운터담당인 나이드신아주머니분이 우리가 분명 훼밀리룸 2실을예약했는데 오직한객실 위아래라고 우겨서 확인하려고 우선 입실하고 식사부터하고 기다리던중 남자분의 와서 미안하다고 다른객실키를 주고가더군요 좀 황당했지만 넓은객실 여유롭고 써서 좋았습니다 피크철이라 좀비쌌지만 해변과 가까워 걸어다닐만했습니다.”

“The room was clean and the parking easy”

“This was a nice and affordable place to stay for our small family. The room was well thought-out and comfortable, with suitable mod-cons and decent space.”

“We loved our family weekend in Port Fairy! The house is really nice and clean. Just a short drive away from amazing beaches and town. I would go back for sure. ”

“Staff were super friendly and the place was great.”

“A+”

“Incredible stay at Basalt Retreat! We enjoyed a cozy and luxurious evening the beautiful vineyard, made even more lovely by the complimentary bottle of prosecco and warm hot cocoa. The space itself is gorgeous and so well appointed—from the fascinating books to the gorgeously-scented bath products. Breakfast was delicious: an exquisite croissant loaf with butter and fig jam, plus yogurt and muesli, all made by local purveyors. If you have time, make sure to get lunch at the lovely restaurant....
