The inn was in nice shape inside the rooms, no complaints. Bed was comfortable, nice amenities, refer, coffee maker, etc. Two things are worthy of comment. I'm aware the inn is using the standard TV's many other places use, but their rooms are larger than most, making the TV's seem small(er), and also using the TV's speaker so volume needs to be raised. Worried me a bit it might be an issue for an adjoining room. And secondly... The towel rack was surprisingly far from the shower. Didn't notice it as I entered the shower, but definitely did as I exited, lol. But the place nice for an older place. They take good care of the place.
My real complaint wasn't about the Inn. It's about Expedia. When I booked, I responded I had a pet. The site informed me about pet weight restrictions, (50lb max), so far so good, checked the box. It presented details for pets; stated pets are allowed to stay in the rooms while enjoying the town. All good so far. So up pops the available rooms. I book it. When I arrive, the desk clerk says you have a pet? Responded, yes. Expected to pay the required additional $20. But, instead informed, no pets allowed in the room Expedia selected as a choice for me. She printed out the paperwork, handed it to me and pointed out, "No pets allowed". Yet Expedia presented this room after filling in, reading all pet related info, and checking the box stating I had a pet. I could only leave my dog in the car at night, or cancel the room and try to find another one.
