“Absolutely beautiful family set of rooms, stunning view of St Michael’s Mount, w causeway right outside. Unfortunately, windows covered w scaffolding and workmen starting on our 2nd day, making bathroom without curtains unusable. Reception unhelpful (blamed property company) until the last day of our complaining when they offered a small discount on our stay (but still didn’t cover window). Although we received notice a week or two before our stay that this was happening, that doesn’t really ...

“Very clean rooms and friendly hosts. It was quite cool in the evenings with heating only on in the mornings and there was no communal lounge area to sit in so we felt we were confined to our bedroom. ”

“Loved our stay. Food was amazing but the service in the evening in the bistro was very very very slow. 30 minutes to get our first cocktail and 1 hour for our first course. Was not crowded 😳”

“The hosts were lovely. Clean, safe, comfortable, good common area includes fridge, glasses, plates & cutlery. Delicious breakfasts with a view of the colourful boat harbour. The pub in Mousehole (5 min walk) was good. Parking is a short distance away but make sure you have cell / text service to use the parking app in case the only machine in the lot isn't working as the next lot is 2 miles away! Would stay here again!!!”

“This is a pub with rooms, so not a hotel. But, wow it is absolutely at the top of the scale for pubs. Room was perfectly clean and had as good a view as you could find anywhere in the world. Location, perfect, parked at the nearby harbour carpark, not overly expensive. Bar staff were great, evening food was great, four real ales on tap, all delicious. Great choice at breakfast and again lovely staff. I would seriously give this accommodation 11 out of 10. 100% recommended.”

“Unbelievably hot room on a mild spring day. Our room was small, but clearly inadequately ventilated as even with the provided Dyson fan permanently on full blast and the window open the room was stiflingly hot on a day that didn’t exceed 16 degrees. ”
