"The cottage is fine and it is in a nice location BUT the details of the cottage listed on the Expedia website and Sykes Cottages are different and misleading. Expedia shows the cottage to be within the Penzance city centre & 8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The cottage is 8 miles (13 kms.) from the Penzance city centre. 10/10 Excellent

"This hotel has some absolutely stunning views and would definitely recommend visiting and staying here! There is also a health spa which had a swimming pool, hot tub and a gym. One thing to note is that you need to book a swimming slot on the day. This worked out well as it means you have the swimming pool to yourself which was nice. There is also a games room which has an air hockey and pool table which went down well with the kids. Breakfast had plenty of hot options which tasted great as well as the typical continental options as well. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. The only downside in the family room was that once the 2 children beds were out, there was very little space for walking and the beds were also blocking the wardrobe which made getting stuff in or out of them a little bit awkward. Also, a note to mention that my children reported that the beds were not very comfortable. Other than this small issue, the rooms were lovely and clean."
