"The area the hotel is in is one of the worst I have ever seen in my life. Junkies everywhere. Human excrement on the broken sidewalks. I did not feel unsafe just not a nice area. The hotel has a hot tub which does not work. The sauna costs 20 euros for 15 mins. No one uses it. There is a tiny gym and two treadmills. The real benefit is the beautiful rooftop terrace where we ate regularly with an expansive view of Athens. The air conditioning was turned off after a few days and we were told to just open the window. That means hearing screaming and fights all night long. Then it was turned back on full blast a few days and we froze. Staff were otherwise very helpful and cheerful assisting us to get new tickets for the Acropolis. Close to Omonia metro station"

"This photo was simply fabulous for the amount that I paid. The room was large, the inclusive breakfast was nice, and the staff were very friendly. even down to the gentleman on reception giving me two complimentary cans of beer because it was my birthday this week.. it’s the simple things that make a complete journey. I was only staying one night, but I totally could’ve stayed here a whole lot longer. I had a lovely balcony that was overlooking the city in towards the harbour area. If I was gonna critique anything, it would be that the shower was incredibly small.. but everything else about the room was at least what I expected, if not a higher standard. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay, maybe before you get a ferry or before you board a cruise ship, or even if you just wanna find somewhere to stay that’s out of central Athens, I would definitely put this hotel on your shortlist"
