really great place. the staff were very nice, the view from room 6 is amazing, the breakfast was great. overall very happy with my stay. my only criticism is with the a/c, it was not very strong.

Wonderful experience. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Room and bathroom was very clean. Air conditioning was a welcome respite from the heat. Breakfast was a set menu served at your table with a basket of fresh breads, a platter of meats and cheeses, a platter of various fruits, yogurt, and scrambled eggs topped off with a pastry for dessert. With only six rooms to service, each guest was afforded personal attention by the staff including a map and suggestions for things to see and places to eat. Definitely would stay here again.

This beautiful residence is tucked away in the old heart of Porto, close enough to get to all the things you might want to do without the noise. Check in and out could not have been more straightforward, the air con was much needed in the extraordinary heatwave, beautiful rooms etc. I loved Porto and my stay. Thank you.

Location and facilities were excellent, as was the complimentary breakfast and all staff we interacted with. My only critique was the AC system cycled on and off where at times you were unable to adjust the temperature within the room which, during the heat wave in which we were there, was a bit challenging. When the AC was operating the room was quite comfortable but for the periods that it cycled to “Central” control it got very hot. Otherwise, everything was great and I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely guest house in Porto.

This guest house was lovely. Location was great for walking to sites within old town. The breakfasts were delicious and hearty. Service with a smile. Very clean and comfortable.

Cool looking guest house in a very convenient location to see Porto. Nicely remodeled except the lighting in room and staircase was very dark. The staff were very kind and breakfast was very yummy. They provided us with a small take away breakfast to have for our flight the next day. We had a lot of stairs to hike up, each floor is bigger than a standard flight of stairs, so getting to our room after walking around Porto was a bit exhausting. Our Double Deluxe room was not 269 feet as advertised on Expedia. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but wished we had a room on a lower level floor that was actually 269 square feet with proper lighting.

This is a beautiful guesthouse with very kind and hospitable hosts. The daily breakfast was amazing with a wide variety including scrambled eggs on request. It was very close to the Sao Bento train station. We were so happy with our stay!

A great hotel in the perfect place

This was in a perfect location and the breakfast and service could not be better. They took very good care of us and showed us many sights we should look at. Even though we were downtown there was almost no noise. Many thanks and would definitely come back again!!

Small guest house conveniently located in historic centre. No stairs but luggage lift. Filling breakfast of scrambled eggs, fruits, cheese ham and cakes. Friendly staff.

Amazing and Historic

AMAZING stay. Anna the receptionist welcomed me so warmly, (I was traveling alone), and gave me the BEST recommendations. The space itself is so beautiful and apparently used to be a church. My room was great and the bathroom/shower was immaculate! Loved my stay here and it was walking distance to everything I needed. Would recommend to everyone!

The property was fabulous! We loved our stay and the breakfast was delicious with the homemade jams, desserts, cheeses, fresh juice, the yogourt, etc. The attention to detail was impeccable. Check-in was easy and delightful with Anna too. The only suggestion and very minor…..is to include a wine opener/ corkscrew in the room and availability for guests to fill their water bottles at a water station in the main area. Thank-you Belemont52, we will sing your praises to our friends that are travelling to Porto for a vacation. If you are questioning whether to stay here….don’t…..close to everything….bars, restaurants, historic sites and attractions.
We enjoyed sitting in the main area with our wine/drinks before heading out for our evening meal.

Building on the same street is under construction. Construction goes into the evening. Not able to open the windows since the noise is ongoing. Belomont52 Is modern, with a comfortable bed and welcoming and helpful staff.

Alfonso couldn't have been more helpful upon our arrival. There are only 6 rooms, so it was very quiet. We had room 6 on the 4th floor. No elevator for us, but they did have a luggage elevator for which we were very grateful! Fantastic room with views over looking the Douro River and Gaia. Only problem was there was no parking available as stated on Expedia and street parking around the hotel has a 2 hour maximum. We parked on the street overnight and then moved to a garage in the morning near our tour departure. Worked out well. They also went out of their way for us and had a delicious breakfast ready early so we wouldn't be late for our tour. Would gladly recommend!
