The warmest welcome and best check in I have ever known. Excellent central location, really attractive premises, spacious quiet room, comfortable beds. Absolutely all the staff were really friendly and very helpful, all extremely efficient. Breakfast was superb and served in a delightful room with a cafe bar. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Great hotel in Porto. The rooms are well laid out. The terrace and pool deck are a lovely retreat from the city. Breakfast is great with fresh bread and pastries. Service is attentive and friendly. Location close to main Porto attractions.

This is absolutely one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Throughout our stay, we were treated with immense kindness from Susanna and Gabriella and all other members of the team. Our room was very functional and clean and the pool is a very nice way to wind down. The hotel is in a very central location with tonnes to do nearby. Breakfast was so tasty and the kitchen team is incredible at what they do and always working with a smile. Also, a big shoutout to Susanna for going above and beyond to provide us with wonderful nearby recommendations and making our stay even more special. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. The entire team is a joy to interact with.

I think quite possibly now on top of my list as my favourite hotel I’ve stayed in. The property was beautiful. The room beautiful. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast - one of the best I’ve experienced. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. I just hope I get the chance to stay there again. Also a great location.

I cannot say enough good things about the Canto do Luz. The property and rooms are lovely and the food is delicious but the staff is amazing! They are very friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. I highly recommend!

This is such a lovely property with the kindest most helpful staff. The breakfasts are excellent with plenty of selection. The location is perfect- everything is walkable and there are outstanding restaurants close by. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe, welcomed and well taken care of. My room- 2 garden- was super comfortable and well appointed. The in-house wine tasting experience was a lovely addition to my stay. I had a fantastic visit and would love to return the next time I'm in Porto.

My stay at Canto de Luz was exceptional from start to finish. The property is beautiful, impeccably maintained, and spotlessly clean, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere throughout our visit. A special thank you to Hannah, who greeted us upon arrival and provided outstanding hospitality during our entire stay. She was incredibly helpful, attentive, and always available to answer questions. Her recommendations for local restaurants, cafés, and bars were excellent and truly enhanced our experience in Porto. The combination of the stunning property, attention to detail, and warm, personalized service made this one of the best stays we’ve had while traveling. I would highly recommend Canto de Luz to anyone visiting Porto and would gladly stay here again.

Canto de Luz has been one of my favourite hotel stays in my many years of travelling. From the hotel’s gorgeous interior to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, I truly can’t fault the hotel. The breakfast each morning is superb, and the hotel is walking distance from so many hot spots. The only suggestion I have would be to add some luggage racks to the bedrooms, but the absence of this by no means ruined our stay ☺️
