Staff was super helpful, bed was comfortable, hot water worked perfectly, everything I could ask for, really. The only reason I am knocking one star off is due to our room being street facing and a lot of cars pass by, if you are a light sleeper this may be an issue.

Stayed for 4 nights in this convenient location. Staff helpful when we arrived. Rooms were more than adequate, air conditioned and well enough appointed. Perhaps a bit worn around the edges, so to speak. Eady options to get there - very near Estadio do Dragao metro & there are bus routes. Lots of places very walkable too. Some decent restaurants in the area. We decided not to have breakfast and ate very well locally, with the locals. 5 minutes away. However, on last day, we had hotel breakfast for convenience. It was actually very good, reasonably priced with an excellent range of options.

After checking in, I went to my room on the 1st floor, in the smallest elevator I've ever been in. The 1st floor was dark, and I had to step out for the motion sensor lights on the floor to turn on. They were so so dim, it was ridiculous - felt like a haunted house. Then, the hall to my room, the lights didn't turn on at all, so it was dark. When I got to my room, I opened the door and it was pitch black (scary for real), and I had to use my phone light to find the place to put the key card to get the lights on in the room. I felt truly compromised. I couldn't see. Inside the room, the carpet edges hadn't been vacuumed in forever? Literally a different color. I asked for a queen bed, got two doubles pushed together. Bathroom looked good at first, but tile grout was missing, plus there was no way to turn on the shower without getting sprayed wet. Furniture in room looks cheap cheap. I went to gas station next door for drinks and actually put a LED headlamp on my head, that I use when camping, just to walk down the hall to the elevator. It was dark and I was scared, I can't imagine how a female would feel going down the dark hallway, to the elevator area that barely illuminates. And yes, I wore the LED headlamp past the reception. Front reception staff were the best thing about the experience.
