We enjoyed our stay, very central location, Daniel was very helpful and friendly. The lady in charge of the Cafeteria was kind enough to pack our breakfast when we had early excursions. We were lucky to meet the owner who was very friendly.
We had a spacious room. Clean, goid air conditioning. Great location to explore the city.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
I didn’t make use of housekeeping during my 3-night stay. But the room, bed, bathroom were clean. Staff from reception to the breakfast crew were very friendly.
Parking was excellent, right across the street and reasonably priced and safe
Front desk staff was excellent and very helpful, especially Daniel and Patricia. They went out of their way to help us.
Irena at breakfast was also excellent and took very good care of us and even packed us breakfast when we had an early tour.
The hotel has exited my expectation. Nice decor, very clean, comfortable, eco friendly.
The location can't be any better, right in the center of old town. There was initially some confusion with retrieving my booking, but the receptionist dealt with it promptly and professionally. Thank you for a lovely stay, I would definitely book again if I'm visiting Porto.
It’s a lot of walk from the Hotel but you have to be in shape and wiling to do all the walking. It’s a great walk along the sea, bridges to cross and a lot to get lost on. This was one of the greatest tour my wife and I did.
Be fit for all the walk, if you’re not, get one of the 6 bridges Yacht tours and enjoy the view and the snakes!
This was our favourite hotel on our trip. Really liked the separate sitting area, bathroom was a bonus with shower stall and also a tub with jets, breakfast room on the top floor was very nice and the location excellent.
We had a very pleasant stay at the Coloseum hotel. The staff is super friendly and gives good service. That pays out! Good staff makes one wishing to stay at that place! Rooms are clean, breakfast is good. This hotel gets only good marks from me.
Rooms are music and theater based, clean and comfortable bed. Surprisingly quiet even with Festa de Sao João happening outside. Bonus was eggs at breakfast!
Nice and clean hotel with spacious rooms and very nice staff.
Unfortunately we cannot recommend the breakfast, the bread was dry, eggs were cold and overall not a good quality
The staff of the hotel were great and room was comfortable. Unfortunately there is a club next door that is open from midnight to 6am that creates a lot of street noise. People congregate on the steps of the theatre itself after leaving the bar creating a noisy environment.
We arrived in Porto after a red eye flight from America and we rode the train to the hotel. We were so tired. We arrived at the hotel at 10:45am and asked if we could possibly check in early. The answer was maybe by 2:45 pm. We asked for a restroom and was told it was on the 6th floor. After using the facility, we noticed a nice outside patio that no one was using. We sat down and relaxed as we had already paid for our room. After a few minutes, we were told we had to leave. The staff were not very welcoming.
Nice stay. Room is very small and uncomfortable but clean. Beds are also small and uncomfortable. AC was ok. Location is very good. There is a garage in front.
The room I had was fairly basic, twin single beds, no frills, but the shower was good, everything worked. Well, the bedside lamp had a dodgy switch, but that was fixed immediately after I reported it, so they don’t lose marks for that. All the staff I dealt with were helpful and kind. The included breakfast was fine for a day or so, I imagine it would become repetitive over a long stay.
The location was excellent, everything was walkable, there’s a big supermarket a few doors away…there had been previous reviews about noise from an adjacent nightclub, but I heard nothing. In fact, my first night there, I had the best sleep in two weeks of travel.
The hotel is in downtown Porto and major attractions can be reached by foot. The rooms are clean and spacious, staff is very attentive. Weather permitting you can have breakfast on the rooftop terrace and have a nice view over Porto. There is some nightlife noise here, so opt for a room facing away from the street if possible. Breakfast was basic so we had our coffee in one of the many cafés in the neighborhood. Overall a pleasant experience, thumbs up!
