"Really fantastic experience here. All the staff were lovely, breakfast the best we have had in Cape Verde and views from the room of the beach a delight. The manager was welcoming and the rooms spotlessly clean and stylish."

"This isn't a hotel but just one room behind Rua Banana. Unable to contact in advance. After a long hot day I showed up at the room only to be told by the neighbors that the room has a problem. They called the owner Fatima and she advised me to go to another hotel. Unfortunately the other hotel demanded payment in cash. When I called Fatima again she told me she had no connection with Expedia and that I should pay again! If the room has a problem why not cancel the booking without wasting my time? Terrible customer service. Asked Expedia for a refund."

"This was my first visit to Cape Verde and I will definitely stay here again on any future visits. The entire property was very neat and clean and reasonably priced. Loved the unique decor. From the front desk to the bartender…Every single member of the staff was super friendly and helpful, even with problems I had trying to move around the country away from the hotel. They definitely went above and beyond. I absolutely recommend!"

"A good place to stay but it is a bit far from the city center. I had difficulty getting a taxi. The room was good but the bathroom had no hot water or shampoo. Overall it was good but needs improvement."
