"Very strange and mixed experience. Arrived around 17h to check-in, and there was nobody working in reception. After waiting about 10 minutes and texting the number posted on the wall a lady showed up who didn't seem to speak english or much italian and just handed me a key. I was wondering what would happen at check-out the next morning since I left early, but had opposite experience. "This hotel was booked mainly on price but after booking in, we decided to stay for the week. Potenza is a lovely little town with all kinds of bars and restaurants where you will meet interesting, friendly people. I would post photos but they say they are too big. Get with the program hotes.com The hotel is close to everything you need without having to walk for more than a few minutes and has few tourists. "in 44 years of traveling around the world this was the worse and demeaning Hotel experience ever had( payment was made in advance BTW )! i cannot say anything about the accommodations because i never made it in!!! After an exhausting and temultuous trip to Potenza , my only concern was checking in , resting down my heavy luggage and preparing etc etc! however when i approached the door and tried to enter , there was no response or answer, i also tried to call a dozen times to no response!
