"The hotel was family friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. We found free street parking. Tavira is extremely walkable and we were super close to the ferry to Tavira Island. The only thing I didn't care fore was the smell of cigarettes in the common areas."

The restaurant for breakfast and dinner were brilliant. The location is perfect for walking Tavira. The room had a strange layout with some wasted space, but I imagine it made sense in the old days when that building was built. Maybe the kept their goat in that space!?

As a regular traveller I booked this hotel based on the photos and the previous reviews, so don’t be put of by the fact it is shown as a 2 star hotel, I cannot understand how that is the case, it was far nicer than many of the 3 & 4 star hotels I have stayed in.
