The hotel is good. Although it's a little out of the mainstream. No pubblic transport is available on the street where the hotel is located. A bit of walking is necessary to use pubblic transpors.

Good location, short walk to Wenceslas Square. The hotel is very clean. Rooms are good size and beds are firm. Tv has 2-3 channels in English. Our room faced courtyard and it was very quiet. The breakfast is excellent, lots of choices so something for everyone. The breakfast room staff keep food supplied to customers and there are some delicious options. Fresh fruit, omelet, stuffed mushroom, and bread rolls etc. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The front desk staff really needs to be of more help to their customers by helping them understand transportation in the City more. We had to figure it out ourselves The breakfast was very good and the rooms were just fine.

The additional option of a brunch was a really nice touch. We slept in one day so having a soup and sandwich was perfect. Rooms were nice and clean with good facilities.

I spent 4 nights at this hotel, and can't complain about anything. Comfortable and clean room, surprisingly noise-isolated windows. AMAZING BREAKFAST that offers lots of choices. Included BRANCH is also good.

A perfectly good spot - accessible to everything especially on foot. We didn’t end up using any transport after arriving from airport- walked about 8-10 miles a day all over the beautiful city. Hotel clean - but far too hot - even with air con on. Too noise as on a busy road to open window at night. Breakfast was fab - plenty of choice - always topped up. Would have liked a few more sachets of tea / coffee in room - seemed to be limited to 2 a day- sure they would have given me more but didn’t get round to asking. We stayed 4 nights - would do so again.

Great location. Staff was soo friendly. Room was good. Do not use the small shop around the corner, the shop is a rip off.. charged me £3 for a bottle of 1.5lt water. Their is a tobacco shop (literally opposite the hotel) 1 min away - they charged me £0.85 for a 2lt water.

Great location, only a couple of minutes walk to Wenceslas Square. Very clean hotel, comfortable, pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast was good with something for most people, there was also a Brunch at this time, which was also nice. The rooms were modern with wifi, tv and importantly for me , a kettle![ tea is very important]. Clean white bedding and towels, bed is firm but found it comfortable. Always nice and warm with good heating. I would recommend this hotel and had a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is in a great location, 5 min walk to the main shopping street and 15min to the old town square. The rooms were clean and comfortable beds but they got very hot, with no windows to open and the air con didn’t work. Only downside was the windows also faced out in the middle of the hotel with a lot of windows facing in and the curtains were a little small for the window. The breakfast was your average continental breakfast, they also offered brunch during the day. The reception staff weren’t always attentive. We had to wait half an hour before we could check in because they only had one person on the desk and we also had no TV remote in the bedroom, when asked they kept saying we will sort it out the next day but they never did.

Wonderful place to stay not far from public transportation and old towns, very clean and wonderful people there. Nice and clean room. Try to get inside room If you want quieter room.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel, beds were huge and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was quite wide in range (aubergine? For breakfast?) And the little packed lunch that was available between 1-4 was quite helpful. Room was a little overwarm at first but better once we realised the Aircon was heating it whatever setting we had it on and just turned it off.

Excellent hotel
The whole trip was amazing , such an amazing place . Transport great , cheap and easy to use , the hotel was in a great area , walkable to main attractions , tram stops , metro . Staff were all great , food very good and room , clean and comfortable, comfy bed , very warm , definitely recommend.

Hotel was in good location. Not far from main attractions. Room was clean and facilities were ok, it was cleaned every day. Only issue I had was lack of milk for tea etc as not keen on powdered milk. Breakfast was good. Downside to hotel was no bar in hotel.

Great hotel / good location-reception a challenge
It was a mixed feeling stay. BUT I do recommend to stay here. Bit of background: First at reception a person who probably suffer from ADHD or something similar so early check in - not possible as check in is only from 2p.m. (I came at 1 p.m.+) he just not check availability, all guests are checking only after 2p.m. That can happen it wasn't so long wait so later on all things went well. One lady meanwhile was not happy with 1st floor stay as only single beds are in 1st floor stay and ready to pay for upgrade and move up in floors, but wasnt able to actually agree with the same receiptionist after few minute struggle she give up not so happy but "whatever". My room was upgraded and I stayed at 4th floor -probably due a GOLD status at Hotels.com - and rooms are very nice, clean and modern. Having a bath is also a not so common so big plus for me + again not only dispensers for soap, shampoo etc. but actuall small flasks with normal products, soap bar, not generic horrible stuff - amazing. Hotel offers also brunch - which maybe would be nice to have more information about at room to consider to go for it or not. Wifi worked perfectly so working from hotel no problem. Breakfast more than adequate. Value in general more than great. Second day I wanted to extend the stay and had that misfortune to talk with the same receptionist. It was a more than challenge and Anastasia as supperior saved the day. Overal exept reception great stay, property and will stay again!

Pleasant hotel close to Wenseslas Square
Nice friendly hotel our only complaint was, we had to ask 4 times to get our tv fixed before it was done. Other than that everything was fine.

Really liked the food. Breakfast was hot and included plenty of options. We ate there five mornings in a row and looked forward to it every night. Especially enjoyed the "brunch" available to guests between about noon and 4 pm. Better described as soup and/or sandwich, it was just what we needed to tide us over between a big breakfast and dinner. Only complaint I had was the "Life Saver" size bars of soap. I get that big bars of soap are expensive and maybe not great for the environment but the provided soap was way too small ... but still better than the liquid body wash you find in similar hotels.

Great hotel, great location
The Archibald City was in a great location for walking around Prague and only 10-15 minute walk from the main train station. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was great, with a fridge to keep our water cold and a kettle for making tea and coffee. Breakfast was excellent with a large variety of hot and cold options. We would definitely stay here again!
