This property was awesome, booked the spacious romantic room and it was an enormous room, perfectly clean and check in/check out was a breeze. Didn’t see anyone working at the hotel but emailed them and they always responded immediately.

Beautiful hotel - Awful experience

Let me start off by saying the hotel/apartment itself was absolutely beautiful. Very spacious and in a perfect location. However, we encountered three major issues during our stay at the Small Luxury Palace Residence which just caused stress. Firstly, we got told check in was all self check in which would’ve been perfect! We arrived at 1:30pm - check in is at 2pm so we waited around. We didn’t receive our keys until we had to find and call the hotel manager and he had to contact the house keeper to bring them down, we didn’t receive them for over an hour which was frustrating as we just wanted to shower and head back out. Secondly, I booked our stay via hotels.com which I had selected to pay at a later date - I spoke with staff at the hotel and paid before our stay. The manager then tried to take 3 different payments of different amounts from my bank account after we had received our keys claiming they did not receive a payment from myself. I then had to spend a very long time going through hotels.com to get this verified that I had already paid - taking time away from our holiday. The manager did contact us and apologise - however this is not acceptable. And the third issue is - we stayed in the romantic sweet with the jetted bath tub - the bath did not work very well, water extremely slow and the bath jets not working - my partner contacted the manager to then be read and ignored which we just left as honestly we had had enough by this point.

Huoneisto on upea. Terassi aivan mahtava. Sänky erittäin mukava ja hyvät tyynyt. Rauhallinen paikka. Huoneistossa voisi olla selkeä keittiönurkkaus, jossa olisi myös vesipiste ja tarpeeksi pistorasioita. Nyt on yksi pistorasia jääkaapille ja kahvinkeittimelle pitää etsiä jostain muualta paikka. Ilmastointi olisi plussaa. Kylpyamme on hieno, mutta ilmeisesti vain koristeena, koska tulppaa ei saanut suljettua ja muutenkin sen täyttäminen olisi kestänyt varmaan koko päivän. Kylpyammeen hana oli täysin utopinen… Lähellä baareja ja paljon nähtävää.

This hotel is in the 'little town' district just a ten minute walk to the castle. It is in an historic building so no major changes are allowed - no elevator! We were on the top floor. Attached photo is of the last flight of stairs. I loved it. It was comfortable for our purposes. Some small toiletries and hair dryer provided.

Positives - Location. Negatives - We we’re staying in the top floor (room 8), we found it difficult accessing the room and bringing our suitcases up and down. The room was hot all the time even with the fan or window open. I could not stand in the shower and I’m 5ft 2in which was not the best. There was a kettle and tea but no milk. No breakfast. Overall probably would not stay again.

Une vraie déception

Décevant... Notre chambre était petite (on faisait tout juste le tour du lit), sans fenêtre (une porte fenêtre donnant sur une courette avec les sorties des VMC et autre = très très bruyant), mal isolée (pas besoin d'élever la voix pour converser avec ses voisins de chambre) et le chauffage n'était accessible que par la chambre d'à côté. Quand l'aération est presque inexistante, c'est un problème. La première nuit, il fut impossible de dormir (+de 30 degrés dans la pièce !) malgré la porte ouverte (bonjour l'intimité...) La réception n'est ouverte que quelques heures par jour et malgré un horaire de 9h-19h annoncé, je n'ai vu personne après 17h30 ! L'emplacement est idéal (au pied du chateau), mais pour moi, après les photos, la déception a été grande. Le lit double consistait en deux lits simples accolés (et donc qui bougeaient), pas top pour un séjour en amoureux ! L'eau mettait plu de 2min à chauffer, à tel point que j'ai cru le premier soir que nous n'avions pas d'eau chaude. Bref, je ne retenterais pas l'expérience, même si au vu d'autres commentaires, il existe de grandes chambres bien mieux équipées.Notre conclusion a été que notre chambre formait une ancienne suite qui a ensuite été (mal) redécoupée pour former deux chambres.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr zufriedenstellend

Das Hotel liegt in exzellenter Lage direkt unterhalb der Prager Burg und in komfortabler Entfernung von der Karlsbrücke. Zwar konnten wir in der Umgebung keine richtigen Supermärkte finden, aber das ist in historischen Zentren vieler Städte ja leider nicht unüblich. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Der WLAN-Empfang in unserem Zimmer war perfekt - könnte mir aber vorstellen, dass in höher gelegenen Zimmern das ganze nicht mehr so gut funktioniert, da die Dachterrasse außerhalb der WLAN-Reichweite lag). Ein Manko muss ich jedoch erwähnen: Die fehlende Telefonnummer in der Hotelbeschreibung. Es war selbst nach einer (zugegebenermaßen nicht allzu langen) Internetrecherche unmöglich eine solche herauszufinden. Ich bekam so erst während meiner Anreise per Mail die Info, wie ich außerhalb der Rezeptionszeiten einchecken konnte. Bucher ohne mobilen Internetzugang hätten da wohl ein kleineres Problem gehabt.

Vanhan kivitalon viehätystä

Huone (numero 4) aputiloineen oli mahtavan suuri, arvioisin noin 60 m2. Kylpyhuone oli iso ja suihku toimi hyvin. WC oli tilava ja hyvä. Ikkunat ovat Nerudovalle, jossa on aika hiljainen ajoneuvoliikenne mutta vilkas jalankulku. Yöelämän äänet kuuluvat hieman kadulta sisään. Tien toisella puolella oleva rakennustyömaa (ei ole hotellin syytä) pilasi lähinnä vain maisemat, koska työt alkoivat vasta klo 7:n jälkeen ja olemme aamuihmisiä. Käytävän äänet sai vaimennettua paksulla puuovella käytävän päässä. Varusteina huoneessa oli pieni jääkaappi (jonka siirsin vessaan käyntiäänen takia) ja vedenkeitin, mutta ei kahvinkeitintä eikä minkäänlaista keittotasoa. Hotellissa ei ollut mahdollisuutta aamiaiseen, joten se oli pieni miinus. Kävimme buffetaamiaisella toisessa hotellissa (Nerudova 48, 250 kruunua/henkilö). Kokonaisuutena ihan kiva ja erilainen hotellihuone. Toivomuslistalle jäi lähinnä kahvinkeitin ja ilmastointi (vaikka varjoisa sijainti ja paksut seinät pitivät helteen aika hyvin loitolla).

Hotel mit der besten Lage in Prag.

Dieses Hotel hat eine phantastische Lage. Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle ist 200 Meter entfernt und die Karlsbrücke ist fußläufig in 10 Minuten zu erreichen .Vorteil ist auch,dass mehrere gute, aber preiswerte Restaurants direkt gegenüber dem Hotel liegen.

Este hotel me proporcionou a pior experiência da minha vida em viagens. NO dia do check in, recebi uma mensagem do hotel pelo celular questionando o horário da minha chegada. Respondi que estava a caminho, dentro de um trem e desembarcaria por volta das 19h. Quando o taxista me deixou na porta do hotel tive a desagradável surpresa dele estar fechado. Fiquei durante meia hora batendo na porta e apertando a campainha, mas ninguém atendeu. O número telefônico que constava no voucher não existia. Um tcheco se prontificou a me ajudar e também não conseguiu fazer a ligação. À noite e em uma cidade estranha e com língua estranha tive que procurar um outros hotel às pressas para não ficar na rua.

Perfect hotel for a two night stay

The hotel is located in a lovely district of prague only 10minutes walk from the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we got was amazing. A huge suite with bathroom and toilet with a lounge to relax in and a huge bed. The bed was comfortable but rather than a double queen bed it was two single beds pushed together. That was the only small fault with this hotel. Location, cleanliness, facilities and staff were all 10/10.

Great Location & Lovely Staff

The hotel is in a wonderful part of the city - very close to the castle and the Charles bridge and it's surrounded by a brilliant selection of shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly, chatty and helpful. The room was a little bit more shabby than chic, and unfortunately was quite dirty. The floor was gritty and we found discarded grapes down the side of the bed. The towels and linen could do with being replaced - they looked pretty tired and old. The room was also quite chilly. Overall, it was pretty 'okay'.
