Great place to stay, nice room with a kitchen and seating area, cant fault it! Would be good if there was luggage storage, but some were suggested to us that were nearby! Well done Botanist, would recomend and would stay again if coming to Prague again

It is a self-check in set up, great for travelers who don't like any fuss. Very new and updated, in the heart of old town, close to EVERYTHING! You'll find all sorts of food and transportation options right out of the main door. Kitchen set up was wonderful, just enough appliance for simple daily needs. They provide coffee pods and tea bags. Albert the grocery store is 5 minutes walk away which provided all the food needs, if you choose to not eat out. Saved me a lot of money. I recommend wholeheartedly and would stay here again when visit Prague. Just keep in mind, for a smooth check in, you must contact the property directly via email or WhatsApp after booking to receive your entry code and room number etc.

The Botanist - July 2025

Perfectly located in the heart of old town. Clean, nice and functionable apartment. Communication with staff was excellent. Currently the backyard area is under construction, but we never heard any noise from it. We stayed a whole week and when some of our lights went out on one occation, the staff responded surprisingly fast and fixed the problem in seconds. Will come back.

It is new, over all clean, 'shattaf available in the bathroom' which is a huge plus. Communication is very poor. Ants found in the kitchen counter and the tap in the bathroom was squirting water.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Botanist. The building is brand new, spotless, and beautifully designed. The location is excellent right in the heart of everything. Just note that Ubers can’t drop you off directly at the entrance, so expect about a 3-minute walk from the drop-off point. I did pay extra for a city view room, but was given a courtyard view instead. I was told the city view rooms were sold out, and unfortunately, no refund or adjustment was offered for the downgrade. Also, I have very sensitive skin, and the bed initially made me feel quite itchy. I messaged the staff via WhatsApp. They explained that the sheets were new, but were kind enough to change them with a washed set, which helped me sleep much better afterward. Overall, it’s a beautiful and modern place in a prime location, but a few small issues like the room change and the bedding took away from what could have been a perfect stay.

This was a fantastic stay! The room was unique, very clean, quiet and comfortable. There is no hotel reception but you receive your room number and access code prior to arrival, so as long as you don’t expect valet parking or storage of your luggage, the check in works seamlessly, and it’s nice to be able to go straight to your room rather than wait at a front desk. Do not expect toiletries beyond the very basics. Best to bring your own, but a small inconvenience considering how great the room itself is. It could not be a better location, a couple minutes walk from the Old Town square, but not so close that you’re bothered by noise from the street. We would absolutely stay here again.

This is an apartment hotel which is new, very modern and clean. The customer service was excellent and flexible as our arrival was before their checking in time and departure was about 7 hours later than their checking out time. The security desk took care of our luggage for a few hours before we left and was so friendly. The location is fantastic for anyone who wants to visit Prague and be close to old town and all the landmarks, market. Everything is within walking distance. One of the best city breaks we have had. Would definately book again. Thank you Botanist.

excellent location. We had 2 cons and those were having to ask for towel changes over a 7 day stay. We would have preferred a change every other day. It was also unusual that they did a full room clean on day 6 of 7. Day 4 might have been more practical. Would we stay again though? Yes we would. YesYesYesyhatvbdid

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem komplett sanierten Gebäude. Sehr ruhige Lage des Zimmers zum Innenhof und mitten in der Prager Innenstadt . Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Prag Sightseeing. Die Küchenzeile ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Einzige Punkt ist der fehlenden Parkplatz zum ein- und Ausladen.

Great location, near to Old Town Square, Metro and shops. Liked the modern decor and well equipped kitchenette. Shame no full length mirror in room, and makeup mirror in bathroom set way too high for short people. Also did notice a smell from bathroom drain.

I think the best part of my trip to Prague was choosing this location which was close to all important historical locations in Prague. We rarely needed a Taxi and Prague is so far the best city I have ever visited in Europe.

Location was spot on! Walking distance from the square and everything tourist need, shops, restaurants and even night clubs.. property clean and newly renovated, nice deco and has kitchenette with everything you need. The only downside was bad smell from the bathroom and very complicated Tv setup and heating/lighting system.. most annoying was to find out how to turn their logo off from Tv screen to be able to go to bed.. once we managed to do it we didn’t turn Tv on .. but I would recommend the place and area. Just don’t use TV ! Easy 40 minute journey to airport by metro and bus!
