"Breakfast daily was amazing. Huge variety of options and always a great start to the day. Location was perfect for us. It sits on a hiking trail with a beautiful beach (Albandeira). It’s small but private. Some days the water was rough but others it was fine to swim. Rooms were clean, small but had everything we needed. Our only wish is that staff were a little friendlier. Maybe I’m just used to friendly Canadian culture and this was noticeably different."

"Amazing place…. Especially great for honeymooners… as it’s quiet, lush, and the beach is amazing. They have a massage area on the beach… absolutely amazing! Great value for money. ALbufeira has some bars/clubs… did not visit them though ."

"I stayed in the junior suite and it was spacious and clean. The staff was very attentive, professional, and friendly. The hotel offers a variety of activities for adults, including water activities, as well as amenities for kids, such as a pool, babysitting services, and arcade games. The pool is nice and clean. My room had 1 patio door lock broken but I managed to prop a piece of luggage to block the door. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach and the restaurants around there are very good. Overall a very good experience."

It was my husbands birthday on the stay and they surprised him with champagne and dessert. Truly incredible service and beautiful place to stay while you are on vacation in Algarve."

"It was a lovely 11 night stay at this excellent resort, albeit some niggles and some wiggles, our family of 4,thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rocha Brava Village Resort! We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment initially, which was fine, until the following morning, when the issue of being so close to the car park ,(delivery vans loading/unloading) which the restaurant and the tennis court customers uses, (car doors banging at 7am in car park) became apparent that it is quite noisy and not very peaceful. We highlighted that to staff reception , and it was resolved as soon as it was possible, and we were moved to another 2 bedroom apartment which was located somewhere peacefully! Thank you "Anna" at reception for the house swap, and luckily there was a house still available! The staff reception was brilliant in attending and listening to our needs and concerns. One day, we had issues with some doors sticking( my daughter was locked momentarily), reception immediately arranged for someone to address the issue and was fixed right away! ( we were still at reception, and the maintenance person was already at the room when we got there lol:) And we also had slow draining shower, and was immediately addressed by the same maintenance gentlemen named "Mario" I believed " who was excellent ! Thank you! All in all, the ambience and the experience we had was a very lovely holiday at the resort! Will book again and recommend!"

"Lovely stay and they were generous with check in and check out times allowing us to have lunch before our later flight home. Lovely location only about an 8 minute walk from 2 lovely beaches one with boat rides available. There was plenty of food selection with different options every meal. The rooms were huge and consisted of a large kitchen area a big hallway a big bedroom, bathroom , living area and two balconies. Not sure whether every room is like this. The pool area has lots of sun loungers which do fill up but you’d have to bring your own parasol which they have holders for. Lovely stay and lovely helpful staff too!"
