Simply beautiful hotel

Hotel is located in old plantation. The main house is renoved and designed in colonial style. Room was very big and comfortable, with beautiful tarrace and view. Equipment was great: all you need you can easily find or just ask for this. Staff was extra-nice and very helpful. They are open and smile. You can use their shuttle service to Santo Antonio, Bom Bom Island and airport. Meels was great and tasty. You can eat something from local or continental cuisine. Everything was fresh and high-quality.

Classificar um hotel na ilha do Principe é complicado. Se analisarmos apenas o hotel propriamente dito, então todos eles têm um preço muito acima do justificável para aquilo que oferecem. No entanto o Principe é diferente. Existe uma aposta muito forte na conservação da natureza e na sustentabilidade, e por isso dá a ideia que eles preferem pouca gente a pagar muito do que muita gente a pagar pouco. Depois de ter visitado, eu estou de acordo com essa política. É verdade que impede que muita gente visite, no entanto é um local belíssimo que merece continuar assim como é, quase virgem.

Mooie historische locatie. Verzorgde kamer. Jammer dat het transport steeds hapert, altijd wachten. Het diner viel echt wel tegen, zowel van keuze, smaak als hoeveelheid. Misschien was de kok er deze dag niet ? Zullen we nog eens navragen.

Lovely island; hotel staff is disappointing

Príncipe is a beautiful place. However, this hotel doesn’t offer much beyond a clean room. Food is subpar and uninteresting, activities are difficult to organize, and staff - despite being largely well-intentioned - is useless. Separately, I had a horrible time checking out. The assistant manager, despite seeing my payment confirmation, grew very hostile (I continue to think he was looking to charge me a second time in order to pocket some money). This ending left me with a poor taste in my mouth. I would definitely recommend visiting Príncipe because it is so beautiful but would strongly advise you to stay elsewhere.

Com qualidade.

O local é muito bonito, os serviços são de óptima qualidade faltando uns pequenos ajustes para ser de excelente, uma roça bem cuidada, actualmente torna-se muito cansativo fazer deslocações de e para a roça, que dentro em breve vai deixar de ser problema dado que está em fase de finalização uma estrada empedrada. A roça tem duas casas, a principal onde estão todos os serviços é lindíssima tiveram o bom gosto de manter tudo o que era original, a segunda casa onde ficam só quartos, tem alguns problemas de cheiros (a mofo), deveria ser mais arejados, mas os quartos são confortáveis com todas as comodidades, com excepção na zona dos chuveiros onde o escoamento da água se faz com muita dificuldade. Um alerta, tenham cuidado com as sugestões dadas por um funcionário sobre os passeios nas ilhas extra Hotel, que podem ser uma desilusão e mesmo até trazer problemas de higiene, mas isso depende de cada um. Por fim, quero dar os parabéns à HBD Resort pelo excelente trabalho que está a fazer na ilha do Príncipe.

Além das expectativas

Uma agradável surpresa depois duma estrada de acesso inenarrável de má. Depois do inferno, o paraíso. Antiga roça muito bem recuperada e adaptada a pequeno hotel. Decoração com muito bom gosto e charme. Atendimento muito acima da média. Chef de cozinha de topo. Ambiente relaxante, requintado. Tudo impecavelmente limpo. A única coisa que não gostei foi não terem aceitado trocar o transfer a partir do aeroporto por ser a partir da cidade de St António sendo a distância semelhante (se quisesse o serviço teria que pagar 20€). Falta de flexibilidade tendo em conta o preço praticado.
