"Good basic local hotel in a magical location - please know this is a good Mexican hotel, not Canadian or American, so adjust your expectations. Incredible view but you’ll have to work for it, up a series of switchbacks on a very steep and winding cobblestone road. Down is harder to navigate but the heat gets you on the way up if you try to head back for a siesta or a bit of pool time. No food or drink available, which means you’ll have to plan well, as this hill is between you and all food and drink! You can take a taxi up from or down to town for 50-70pesos. Nice refreshing pool that we had to ourselves. Wonderfully gracious and helpful staff. "

"Beautiful pool to cool off in the afternoons. The staff so very friendly and accommodating. The suite was wonderful, amazing view. The food was very good. Pretty Thai inspired spa. Good 2 hour massage. Friday night they had a sax player and a free fire show. Can sit in many places for food and drink. Excellent location. Will return for sure."

You step out and you are right on the beach with sweeping ocean views and some of the most beautiful sunsets imaginable. Even just walking through the small streets nearby feels magical, with colorful murals, flowers everywhere, and the relaxed energy that Zipolite is known for. The atmosphere at the hotel is peaceful, welcoming, and perfectly in tune with the town. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to the ocean breeze each morning was unforgettable. They made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived and were always happy to help with anything we needed. Another highlight is how easy everything is to reach on foot. Great restaurants, beach bars, and shops are all just a short walk away, making it effortless to explore and enjoy the town day and night.
