"The accommodations were worth the price, and the hotel service was good. But pass on the restaurant in the evening. It is not where you want to be waiting for food after trekking all day. The staff is nice, is very nice, but insufficient, and I waited 90 minutes for my simple meal on the terrace. Also, there is major construction next door with heavy equipment on the adjacent wall — not relaxing. I suspect this work will be done by summer, 2026. "

"The room was beautiful with a perfect view. The hotel and the entire staff are magnificent, helpful, and and very friendly. We were absolutely happy with the hotel. However, the restaurant was OK, but not really great food."

"The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was great with an attentive and flexible staff who adjusted breakfast times for an early excursion which they helped us book (a 360 island tour which was also excellent and reasonably priced compared to similar options). They were also very flexible with early check-in and departure. All around a great value for our short stay in San Cristobal."
