We had a very nice experience!!! It was our first time doing an all inclusive so we did not know what to expect! The food was meh….not much flavor and just underwhelming….didn’t really care for the cafeteria vibe. The best meals were breakfast and the make your own omelette station was on point. The beach access with beach loungers were amazing! The readily available drinks…although they were not at all top shelf were good. The best part of the trip was Chemi in the wine bar, Oak! He hooked us up with a lot of wine and got us into some of the restaurants where we had excellent meals that weren’t cafeteria style dining! He really made the experience memorable!

We’ve stayed at several all‑inclusive resorts, so we generally know what to expect. This property had a few highlights, but also several things that didn’t work well for us. Pros • Swim‑Out Room: The room was ready on arrival, and the pool was clean and well‑maintained. The foliage had recently been trimmed very low, so it felt less private than expected. • Friendly enough staff Things to Know • Room Layout: There is no table or chairs inside the room. We enjoy playing cards, and without a proper surface, our options were limited to the bed, floor, or an outdoor lounge chair. The only table-and-chair setup was by the main jacuzzi & noise. • Noise Level: The resort is highly energetic, with music and activities running all day until about 11pm. If you enjoy a lively atmosphere, you may love this, but those sensitive to noise may find it overwhelming (even in a building close to the beach). • Food: The food was hit‑or‑miss for us. *Mostly miss*. You also cannot take food back to your room without a major issue. You have to order from a reduced option room service menu. • Storage: The room has limited storage—just a few hangers and two small drawers—so longer stays may require suitcase living. • Vacation Club Invitations: Staff approached us several times to attend a presentation. Overall, this did not align with what we were personally looking for in a resort. It would be a good fit for those who prefer to be entertained/high energy environments.

This place is an absolute gem for a romantic Valentine’s Day celebration! One of the employees, Amaury, organized a breathtaking beachside dinner that made my night unforgettable. The ambiance was enchanting, with live music and delectable cuisine. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. They also have a charming bar called Milwaukee, where we met a lovely girl named Deilennys (I think that was her name). Her warm and welcoming nature made everyone feel at ease. We often found ourselves spending our evenings at the bar with her during our stays at the hotel. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a romantic getaway. My stay at the hotel was also fantastic, and I’m already planning my next visit.

food was inadequate, most was overcooked and/ or poorly presented. menu descriptions @ specialty restaurants were inaccurate. lighting of the property at night was poor and presented safety concerns. entertainment and activities were sparse and uninspiring. table service at meals, buffet and restaurants, was very lax; cleaning & preping of tables after each seating not quick nor entirely sanitary.

The rooms need some work. I reserved 2 rooms and both had issues. The handles of some of the drawers were loose with the screw sticking out and I had a toddler with me and was afraid of her getting a scratch. My other room had a leak on the bathroom roof. It’s sad to see the resorts in puerto plata come so short when compared to Punta Cana resorts. Additionally, my main discontent with this hotel was the fact that you staff split my party into 2 different buildings and I found myself running back and forth because in one room I had 2 elderly, one using a cane to walk and in the other room (in a 3rd floor with NO elevator) I was forced to stay with 2 small children and had to be carrying my 1 year and 5 years old children plus stroller up and down. It didn’t feel like a vacation but a huge inconvenience. Lastly, my children did not like the fact that your pool closes so early at 6 pm. Why not extend it to 7 pm?

The staff was friendly and welcoming, especially those in restaurants and bar areas. The room was OK. The air conditioner and air vent in the bathroom did not work properly and the towels were dingy. The property landscaping is very nicely done and kept up. The entertainment was good. The poor areas were fun with many activities and music. My husband and I expected more from the food. It was mediocre. There could have been more authentic Dominican foods and flavors. The breakfast was good and had many choices with eggs made to order. The beach bar was very good. Not sure if we would make a return trip here.

When arriving staff was polite and helpful getting us checked in and to our room. My room had numerous issues, safe not working which was taken care of on arrival day. Sliding door off track and not opening took 2 days to get fixed. Bathroom toilet not functioning properly and leaked on floor. That took 5 days to get fixed after complaining everyday to the cleaning staff and front desk. Frustrated, after I was told not to put toilet paper in the toilet, asked to speak to a supervisor who came to the room, pulled the toilet out and reset it to the floor. Pool area and beach was nice. I was surprised only one bar for whole beach area. Could use one on each end. The buffet staff was just OK. Not attentive to customer service very single focused. Most mornings for breakfast had to get up and find our own water glasses and water.

Poor food quality in main dining room, broken elevator, slow service, broken games in arcade, unpaved and poorly maintained mini golf, overly pressured into time share meeting, beach snack area unclean, extremely limited English (lifeguard spoke none at all), kids center dingy and no English, too many surcharges for activities for an “all inclusive”

We were disappointed even before arriving when finding out that they do not offer an airport shuttle despite both Expedia and the resort's Instagram saying they do. The resort was a good size and we enjoyed having our own pool and bar as part of the Adults Only expereince, but there were a few things that made our stay not as enjoyable as we hoped. The wifi would keep disconnecting and when it was conected it was weak. The buffet food was not good and lots of people said they got sick. For our room specifically (12211) the door battery kept dying so we would have to hike back to the front desk to tell them and then hike back to our room to wait in the hall for someone to come fix it. This happened three times during our 5 day stay. There is a jucczi on the deck but not only did it take forever to fill up, there was only cold water. Being at the end of the hall meant that when it would rain, water would come in under our door. The shower wouldn't drain well and the water ended up overflowing into the rest of the bathroom. The tolet seat was broken. The maids would take our towels but not replace certain things like the bathmat or the pool towels, so it was a run around to try and get those back. Outside of all the issues with our room, the beach was a great place to spend some time.
